Warwick Johnson

After graduating from Melbourne University (where he specialised in Japanese and economic history) in 1983, Warwick Johnson worked in fund management in Japan, Hong Kong and London between 1984 and 1998 when he returned to Australia, settling in Sydney with his wife Ann and three daughters. He established his own investment management company in 1999 to invest in the equities markets of Japan and Asia and has continued to travel extensively and regularly in Asia over the past forty years.
In addition to his business interest in Asia, between 2008 and 2018 he served first as a director and later as Chairman of VisAsia - a support group for Asian art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
